Help with Online Patient Services

This page provides some basic hints and tips should you be encountering any techincal difficulties in using Online Patient Services

The Practice is not responsible for the website or app you use to access Online Patient Services, and can only offer limited support in their use

The only action the Practice is able to perform is to reset your account and generate new registration details, which will need to be collected from Reception

Before contacting the Practice, please visit the following support pages for help as well as answers to frequenlty asked questions. These sites also allow you to log specific issues online, and the support teams will get back to you via email :

If the website or app you are using produces any error codes, please make a note of them as they are important in trying to rectify any faults e.g. the Patient Access website may produce a 4 digit error code (e.g. 7001) and an additional reference code

Problems registering

If you have received a registration document from the Practice and cannot complete the registration process due to the system not accepting your registration details, please contact the surgery and we will reset your account

On the 'Register' screen, only enter details into the required fields, which are marked with an asterix (*).
NHS numbers and National Insurance (NI) numbers are different; NHS numbers use 10 digits, whereas NI numbers use a combination of 9 letters and digits - Entering your NI number will prevent you from completing your registration

Problems with passwords

If you are having problems with your password, the Online Patient Services provider's website or app that you are using will include a link to help you reset your password

Please make sure that you are following any requirements regarding what your password should contain i.e. the minimum number of characters used or the mix of characters used (e.g. lower case, capitals, numbers or special characters)

The Practice cannot reset passwords - This can only be done via your Online Patient Services provider's website or app
